I've read the prologue and I'm a few pages into chapter one. The prologue helped me understand the information thats going to relate to the book. The book talked about migration and the auto industry in the 1920s. In the 1920s came the Jazz Age. During 1924, the National Origins Act strict limits of the number of immigrants into the country that ended the immigration era. That Detroit was a pleasing place in the 19th century.

The Arc of Justice's prologue gave you a sort of visual idea of how life was after slavery was abolished. It gave details of what it was like in the Nothern Cities where most of the African American freed slaves migrated. This gives a sort of breif summary of what happend before the book has been written. It basically lays out what happend before the story had taken place to catch the reader up with what the author is telling a story about.

I am reading "An unquiet Mind". I am currently on page 25. The intro and prologue was really interesting. When you have someone with manic depression you can tell that something is different about them. The author, Kay Redfield Jamison, does a great job of illustrating the disease with her word choices. Jamision does a wonderful job of detailing every little situation the patient comes to in her life. I still think that it is amazing that the patient goes to school to become a doctor for the illness that she had dealt with for the majority of her life.

I am reading the book "An Unquiet Mind". In the introduction it talks about the setting, some main facts about the authors depression, and how her depression has changed her and what is going through her mind. I am in the second section of my book because there are not really chapters. It is going good so far and I am excited to read what the rest of the book is about.

The Arc of Justice is a compelling novel that relates to the struggles of African Americans in the early 19th century. Jazz was a big part of this era. The African Americans started migrating north to escape the evil of the south. The prologue also gives information on the situation of our country and the time.

Arc of Justice tries to bring you into the time zone of the 1920's and all the was going on back then. Detroit history about the automobile industry is also mentioned, which a lot of it I already because my family has worked in it for a long time. It tries to give you enough information so when you actually start reading the chapters you can jump in right where they left off.

I am currently reading "An Unquiet Mind", and on page 32. The prologue was very interesting and so was the introduction. I was glad i read the prologue because it let me know what exactly i am going to read about. Someone that has manic depression is very special in several ways and i am excited to continue reading this book to find out more about it.

I am reading the book An Unquiet Mind. I am half way through the first part of the book.

The prologue is a great way to give background about the book. It explains the life of Kay Jamision. It is a great thing that she has gone through all the things that she is treating her patients for.
