i think all the ideas we cmae up with in class is great for the 5th grader to have. but we shoul get name tags and we should also have some of the kids talk to a few people that have been on campus so they could know, and give the kids a survey at the end and ask them what they thought about oakland University.

Keep the ideas coming.

What should be on the survey we send over?

should we dress a certain way. like business casual so they can tell who's showing them around and they don't get confused by following someone else.

I think we all have fantastic ideas! I also think that we should have a student talk about there experience at oakland. I know its important to make the whole focus about attending oakland. We should also talk about how they should go to any college in general. Basically, promote the college experience.

I think we should make it as fun as posibel but not overwhelm them with to much. it seems like we have a lot of activities right now. I like the idiea abought dressing simmiler. the survey should have what their futer planes are and how they liked the experinces hear to day.

i was think that we should visit their school oneday, n we can talk to all the kids about college and everything about college. that would be fun because we can talk to the other kids that wasnt able to come to the university

I know at orientation we had leaders called OGLs (orientation group leaders). OGLs was really helpful and I know I still talk to mine. There were hundreds of people at orientation and by having OGLs if gave me a opportunity to talk one on one.

I think it would benefit the students more if we have GGL (Grizz group leaders). Theses leaders will take about 5-10 students (depending on how many students) and do the campus tours that way, then meat up in the cafeteria or rec.

I also like what Jessica said maybe one day a group of us (not the whole class) can go to the school and invite the kids personally and hand them the letter directly.
